Safety In The Workplace

Safety can only be achieved through teamwork at Public Safety Services, Inc. Each employee, supervisor and manager must practice safety awareness by thinking defensively, anticipating unsafe situations and reporting unsafe conditions immediately.

We are proud of our “Ten Commandments of Safety” written by our employees in the interest of prevention:

1ST SAFETY SHALL BE THY BIGGEST PRIORITY.

2ND DRIVING SHALL BE A TEAM EFFORT.

3RD THOU SHALT EXERCISE “RESTRAINT”.

4th THOU SHALT ANTICIPATE HAZARDS IN YOUR WORKPLACE.

5TH THOU SHALT THINK BEFORE THY LIFT AND TWIST.

6TH THOU SHALL KNOWETH THY AIRBORNE AND BLOODBORNE PATHOGENS MANUALS.

7TH THOU SHALL WEAR PROPER PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT AND SHALL BE USED IN EVERY TASK.

8TH MAKETH PATIENT SAFETY YOUR PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL OBLIGATION.

9TH THOU SHALT ABIDE BY TRAINING AND EDUCATION TO ENSURE THE SAFETY OF YOURSELF, YOUR PATIENTS AND YOUR CO- WORKERS.

10TH THOU SHALL RECOGNIZE THAT ACCIDENTS DON’T JUST HAPPEN.
